Yesterday we made a snow fort. This is Emily inside it.

Today we enlarged the fort from the inside and now all six of us kids can squeeze inside.

I just washed Emily's and Melissa's hair in the sink. Emily was quite full of giggles. :P

Cookies and a big oops

Jason has an orthodontist appointment today and just Melissa and I are home right now. We made cookies for Cubbies tomorrow night and she wanted to mix them herself. (see bottom two pictures) She had fun mixing and cutting the cookies, but when it was time to take a pan out of the oven, I couldn't find my hot pad.
I knew I had taken it out but as I could not find it I assumed I had put it away. A couple minutes later smoke started coming out of the oven and I opened it to see what was wrong. Guess where I found the hot pad...

Hand Wreath

We made a 'hand wreath' today. I had four helpers. Sorry for the red eye in the last picture, I couldn't get it out.

Melissa

We have been going to the pool as we have a pool pass for the summer again. Laura loves to go of the diving board and down the little slide, but Melissa does not like to do those. We put a life jacket on her to make it more fun for her and she liked that so maby by the end of the summer we can get her not scared.

Pretty silly to post about but I thought it would prove I didn't fall off the face of the earth.
