How Pretty!!!

I don't think it looks as good in the picture but when I took these pictures the second one looked like a lane with pretty white blossomed trees on either side. I don't know what the trees are called but I do think they look pretty and know they are all over the place.

Busy, busy, busy!!!

We have been REALLY busy this past week. On Friday We went to Pennington for Track and field day. I did really well, placing in four out of five events. If anyone cares I got third in standing long jump, second in hurdles, second in softball throw, and first in three-legged race! The other event I tried was shot put and I think I got sixth. It was funny I got first in the three legged race because I didn't know the girl I raced with. The only bad part was the girl who first introduced us tripped so we couldn't even tease her about winning. We had been having fun going on at each other earlier in the day.
On Saturday we went to Jackpine and worked on putting roofs on the shelters. My MOM has a bunch of pictures of the work. (I took them actually)
Sunday we were still at Jackpine.
Monday morning we packed in the cold and drove home.
Tuesday was Melissa's birthday and we drove down to Bemidji for the day. A very long day too I might add.
Not very interesting to read but that's what's been happening around here.

YIKES!!!!!

I don't mean to scare anyone away but earlier I cleaned under my dresser. Don't worry, I didn't take any pictures. =D It was really bad down there as my Mom said she had never cleaned down there before. It looks really nice now. (not that anyone is going to see it) :) (of course if you want to come over and see it...) :)

Violin Recital

Here is the edit I promised. We left out some of Hosanna's notes right before I go into my second solo and we cut the song short. By the time we had finished "fixing" the song so we could play it as a duet, we were joking "Concerto for Two Violins Revised" and "By the time we're finished Renae won't even recognize the song" :P It did turn out really well though.


Well here is the duet I did with a friend. The recital was very fun to do although I got very nervous. I also played a solo but it didn't get recorded. As I sat here listening to it it sounded very strange. I had never heard both parts the same volume...I had always been playing it. See if any of you musical ones can figure out what is wrong, I'll edit my post later and tell. :P Last year I was near the very beginning of the recital and this year we were second to last!!! The video is long so it will take awhile to load. Enjoy!!!

Birthday Party

Well the pictures are in no particular order. It was quite a fun day Tuesday and I am just now getting over waking up at six-thirty. I was given several fun presents. One of the boys wrapped his with twenty feet of yarn (well not quite) so it took a while to unwrap. While we were trying to toss a ball over the roof it got stuck in the snow up there so we had a couple of the boys shovel it off. A mistake sending boys up there because we ended up having a snow fight. We had two cakes and a fruit pizza and ice cream for the initial singing of the birthday song. We played a fun game called "tree tag" and several kids did an obstacle course. After they left, it was empty. Now we are getting ready to go to Brainerd.
